This short application helps us learn about your family, home, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a dog. Please read each acknowledgement so you know exactly how the program works — and if it seems like we may be a good fit for one another, we'll reach out personally to talk it through.

Before we begin

Please read and acknowledge each item. All are required to continue.

I understand that there is a $500 Guardian Home placement fee, and that our family assumes the normal responsibilities and expenses of dog ownership — including quality nutrition, routine veterinary care and required vaccinations, training, and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks.I understand that she remains part of the Macaroonadoodles breeding program until her breeding career is complete, and that Macaroonadoodles will have her spayed at that time according to the Guardian Home Agreement — after which she remains with our family permanently.I understand that when it is time for breeding she may stay with Macaroonadoodles or our breeding partner for approximately one week, and that when she has a litter she will return to Macaroonadoodles for approximately eight weeks to give birth and raise her puppies.I understand that she will not be spayed during her breeding years, that she will experience normal heat cycles, and that our family is responsible for carefully preventing any access to intact male dogs and following Macaroonadoodles' care instructions. I will notify Macaroonadoodles immediately when a heat cycle begins.I understand that Macaroonadoodles covers her initial puppy vaccinations and expenses specifically related to breeding, and that our family covers the everyday costs of caring for her — routine veterinary care, future vaccinations and boosters, wellness exams, preventatives, food, grooming, and any veterinary care unrelated to breeding.I understand that professional grooming approximately every 6–8 weeks is required, along with high-quality nutrition, regular exercise, and training.I understand that guardian families live within 15–20 miles of Macaroonadoodles in the Spokane area and maintain consistent, flexible communication.I understand that guardian dogs may not attend doggy daycare or traditional boarding facilities without prior approval.I understand that failure to meet the Guardian Home Program requirements may result in removal from the program, as outlined in the Guardian Home Agreement.
